V's biggest fansite continues to be labeled a sasaeng fan despite the idol's efforts to protect her

  

The concept of fansite is no longer unfamiliar within the K-pop fandom. It refers to a social media account dedicated to sharing high-quality photos and videos of an idol during events and official schedules. Fansites and sasaeng fans are worlds apart--fansites support idols in a wholesome way, respect their privacy, and only take and post photos with the idol's consent.

 

Each of the seven members of BTS has several large fansites, but it's rare for one to remain active for many years due to the fans' own busy personal lives. Among them, the fansite Nuna V is a familiar name to many ARMYs for her long-standing dedication to supporting V.

 

She has earneed widespread recognition and affection from much of the fandom for consistently capturing photos that highlight V's exceptional visuals. She also very diligent, often following his schedule closely. Moreover, Nuna V is known for taking some of V's most iconic photos--including close-up shots and moments of direct eye contact with the camera.

 

 

This tradition continued at the CELINE fashion show attended by V on October 5 in Paris. Nuna V captured photo from the opposite side, where V confidently posed while looking straight into the camera, captivating viewers. It's easy to imagine thhe fansite owner's heart fluttering each time she photographs him like that.

 

Although most fans love and thank Nuna V for her high-quality photos, they have also bcome a source of controversy caused by toxic individuals. The fansite owner has once again been labeled sasaeng fan, accused of being a dangerous stalker for getting too close to V at multiple events, and has received countless harsh insults.

 

Some negative comments appeared after she released a recent photo of V, like: "Why are y'all sharing Nuna V's pics and videos? She's a whole sasaeng," "She's actually a sasaeng fan. Don't like or retweet photos from this account," and "She's a sasaeng--she has a lot of money and has been in Taehyung's circle for years. People sin for money and let their hands get dirty just to be close to him, hahaha. Keep believing, you naive ones."

 

When V's bodyguards were seen shining lights to disrupt paparazzi taking photos of him outside the hotel the night before the event, some people event mentioned the fansite's name directly--despite on her being present. They went as far as to claim was "punishment" for sasaeng fans like Nuna V.

 

It's worth noting that Nuna V has previously clarified multiple times that her repeated invitations to CELINE fashion shows are because she is a VVIP client of the brand. Not ony does she receive official invitations to these events, but she's also regularly sent appreciation gifts from CELINE--including luxury flower bouquets, holiday cakes, and products from latest collections.

 

 

 

 

Furthermore, she is able to take photos of V because he has given her permission. In fact, during a live broadcast after the Celine event in July this year, V personally expressed his gratitude to the fansite for taking beautiful photos of him. He said, "Thanks for watching me today, and thanks for taking such pretty pics too. Keep watching me--no, wait, keep snapping!"

Not only V, but also stylist Choi Mujin (@hairbymujin)--who is very close to V and well-known in the industry--has publicly acknowledge his talent and shown respect for his work. They stylist not only credited the fansite as the source but also added a caption saying, "Thank you for taking so many beautiful pictures," when reposting her photos.

 

 

 

 

 

The fact that the photos taken by Nuna V were posted and praised by V's personal stylist, and even liked by V himself, clearly shows that her actions were authorized by the idol and entirely appropriate. This is completely contrary to the behavior of sasaeng fans, who illegally invade an idol's privacy.

 

It's clear that V wouldn't simply sit and allow Nuna V to point a large camera lens at him if he were uncomfortable with it. In fact, he exudes exceptional charisma in the photos she takes. Only those who are blind with jealousy or driven by malice would convince themselves that he is being forced and that she is a sasaeng fan.

 

Many fans have expressed their support for Nuna V by presenting this evidence whenever someone accuses her. They also hope that she isn't negatively affected, as she is one of the longest-standing fansites and has actively promoted the idol for years.
