Jungkook's Sigh While Mentioning His Solo Tour Breaks ARMYs' Hearts




On November 3, it marked the sixth consecutive day that Jungkook went live with ARMYs on Weverse Live, with the broadcast titled “Hello, I’m Ian.” Initially, the Golden Maknae’s livestreams began as a fun attempt to find the name “Ian,” which was printed on Kancho cookies — a current trend in Korea. He was so determined that he bought two large bags full of cookie boxes and opened several in each broadcast to search for it.

Although Jungkook once again failed to find the “Ian” cookie during the sixth livestream, he didn’t lose his spirit. Instead, he joyfully played games with ARMYs, sang live, watched YouTube videos, and even enjoyed a gukbap dinner — all for six straight hours in front of more than 11.1 million live viewers.




For the most part, the livestreams made ARMYs happy, as they got to see the Golden Maknae enjoying his free time. However, one moment that has since gone viral on social media left fans feeling emotional — when Jungkook mentioned his world tour.
Specifically, in a video spreading among fans, while Jungkook was watching j-hope's Hope On The Stage IMAX movie trailer, he suddenly sighed mid-way and said, “I wonder if I’ll ever be able to hold a solo concert too.” But then he quickly added, “I’m sure I’ll be able to do it someday — a solo tour like j-hope.”


 Among BTS members, three out of seven — SUGA, j-hope, and Jin — have already held their own solo world tours. Meanwhile, the remaining four members have yet to have the opportunity to embark on global tours after completing military service, since BTS is already planning to release a full album and begin a group world tour next spring.

With BTS’s packed schedule already set for 2026 as a group, solo world tour plans for RM, Jimin, V, or Jungkook will likely be postponed. Moreover, Jungkook has directly witnessed the enthusiasm of fans and experienced performing solo during his older members’ concerts, which only fuels the Golden Maknae’s passion further. That seems to be the reason why Jungkook ended up asking himself about a solo world tour.

In truth, it might have been an offhand remark — something Jungkook didn’t think too deeply about — but it immediately sparked strong emotional reactions from fans worldwide. Many reassured him that he had nothing to worry about regarding audience numbers, saying they would always be ready to attend his concerts:

“I’d go even if it were tomorrow.” “We’re always ready.” “How can the company not realize how many fans are waiting for Jungkook’s solo concert?”

Meanwhile, some fans pointed out that this wasn’t the first time Jungkook mentioned his desire to hold a solo world tour. He has long expressed the wish to perform as a solo artist, ever since BTS began promoting individual projects. Especially during the GOLDEN solo album promotions, Jungkook brought up this dream in several interviews.



However, later on, Jungkook also expressed that compared to personal ambitions, “Our No.1 priority is group activities. No matter what comes, that won’t change.” In the same livestream, he added, “I know my priorities, and I want you to know that it’s you.”

Not only Jungkook but all BTS members share the same mindset. They always put the group’s collective goals and interests above personal pursuits. Even during their solo activities, they aim to contribute to BTS’s overall reputation rather than prove individual standing. That’s why BTS remains the only K-pop group that has stayed intact for over a decade while continuing to maintain its global influence.

On the other hand, fans also expressed hope that there will soon be the right time for Jungkook and the remaining members to hold their own tours — completing the solo journey of all seven BTS members:
