Jin, Jimin Enters Billboard Japan 2025 Annual Chart
Jimin's "Who" at No. 73, Jin's "Don't Say You Love Me"—BTS continue to shine in Japan
BTS has demonstrated its strong presence on major international year-end charts.
According to Billboard Japan's 2025 Year-End Chart (circulation period: November 25, 2024-November2 23, 2025), released on the 5th, Jimin's title track "Who" from his second solo album MUSE ranked 73rd on the Japan Hot 100. Jimin is the only Korean male artist to appear on this year's chart. "Who" also ranked 48th on the Streaming Songs chart, while its album, "MUSE," placed 76th on the Streaming Albums chart and 87th on the Hot Albums chart.
On the Artist 100 chart, Jin (No. 58) and Jimin (No. 93) were listed. Jin achieved impressive results with his second solo album "Echo," ranking 24th on the Download Albums chart and 41st on the Top Album Sales chart. His title track "Don't Say You Love Me" entered the Streaming Songs chart at No. 69.
BTS also stood out in Spotify Japan's 2025 Wrapped. The group ranked 4th in Top Groups of the Year and 18th in Top Artist of the Year, marking the highest streaming numbers among foreign male artists. In Spotify's Global Wrapped, the group topped the category of Most-Streamed K-Pop Artists, reaffirming their worldwide influence.
The member's solo releases also performed well. In Spotify Japan's Top Songs of the Year, Jimin's "Who" ranked 19th, Jungkook's solo single "Seven (feat. Latto)" ranked 65th, and the duet "Winter Ahead (With Park Hyoshin)" by V and Park Hyoshin ranked 68th. Notably, "Winter Ahead" ranked 46th among the Most Shared Songs on social media, highlighting its strong popularity. In the Top Album of the Year category, Jimin's "MUSE," Jin's "Echo," and Jungkook's "Golden" placed 13th, 27th, and 30th, respectively.
In the 2025 Lollapalooza Berlin Wrapped, released on the 4th, J-Hope received special attention. Organizers selected his performance of "Mic Drop" as the one that generated "Loudest Crowd" of the year, noting that "the audience's explosive cheers pushed the venue's decibel levels beyond the limits."
As shown, BTS achieved outstanding results both as a group and as individuals in year-end rankings, proving their overwhelming popularity. With their global influence once again reaffirmed this year, anticipation continues to grow for their full-group comeback and world tour schedule for next spring.
