A List of Female Artists Rumoured to Collaborate With BTS Goes Viral, Sending Fans Into a Frenzy

BTS are set to release their fifth studio album, ARIRANG, in the second half of March. However, excitement has already spread worldwide since the beginning of the year, when the news was first revealed. The group's comeback—after three-year hiatus due to military service—has been met with high expectations for something "new," highlighting their maturity and distinctive style.

The global promotional campaigns prepared by BigHit Music have further fueled the hype as the comeback data approaches. These include a large installation featuring the BTS logo at the Sejong Center for Performing Arts in Seoul, lighting up the Empire State Building in purple, and the "What Is Your Love Song?" Valentine's Day campaign in major cities worldwide.

Adding to the excitement are rumours directly related to the music of ARIRANG, which have further thrilled netizens. In particular, fans have been closely watching a list of female artists Rumoured to be "highly likely" to collaborate with BTS on the new album.

The four artists listed include Megan Thee Stallion, Laufey, Halsey, and Sabrina Carpenter. According to leaked information, they have reportedly been involved in the music production process with BTS since November of last year.

As soon as the news was shared, it sparked major discussions within the fandom. Halsey is already familiar to ARMYs thanks to her previous collaborations with BTS. Meanwhile, Megan Thee Stallion previously featured on a remix of "Butter," which was well received by fans, and the possibility of an official track between her and BTS now seems closer than ever.

Laufey and Sabrina Carpenter would be collaborating with BTS for the first time, leading fans to eagerly anticipate how their vocals might blend with the group. Notably, both artists already have personal connections with BTS. Sabrina Carpenter has long been a fan of the group, with Suga as her bias. Meanwhile, Laufey revealed that V sent her a direct message on Instagram in 2022 after admiring her musical talent.

Fans quickly expressed their excitement online, sharing comments such as:

☉ "The concept of a BTS album featuring only women,"
☉ "This collab list is insane—please let it be true,"
☉ "If Laufey us in that album, I will actually combust,"
☉ "Another collab with Halsey and Megan? This sounds too good to be true,"
☉ "What kind of album brings Laufey and Sabrina Carpenter together? OMG, they're my favorite artists," and
☉ "I doubt it, but if this really happens, it'll be the best day of my life."

So far, BigHit Music has revealed little about the collaboration lineup, except for Diplo, who has been officially confirmed as a producer on Arirang. Nevertheless, fans remain determined not to miss any clues. As a result, several Western artists and K-pop idols have also been speculated to appear in the album, particularly in connection with the "What Is Your Love Songs?" campaign.

On February 21, fans noticed that Benny Blanco and Charlie Puth shared posters with their names on the campaign's signature red-tape background via Instagram Stories. Benny referenced BTS's collaboration with Snoop Dogg on "Bad Decisions," while Charlie shared "SAFE" by Kiss of Life.

Additional clues cited by fans include reports that J-Hope visited Benny Blanco's house in March 2025, and that V and J-Hope previously shared photos of BTS spending time with Charlie Puth in Los Angeles during a songwriting camp in August 2025.

Other artists, including Taylor Hanson, Becky G, Tablo, TXT, and Cortis, have also participated in the campaign and are therefore suspected to be potential collaborators. Another source has mentioned Swae Lee and NIKI as possible contributors, even though they have not posted related content on social media.

Ultimately, only time will tell. Fans will have to wait until March 20, when the truth behind these rumored, star-studded collaborations is expected to be revealed.
