V (Kim Taehyung) of BTS has drawn attention after receiving lavish praise from a Japanese plastic surgery specialist, who described his face as being of “national treasure” caliber.

A well-known Japanese plastic surgeon analyzed V’s face on social media and could not hide his admiration, calling his looks “legendary” and “worthy of national treasure status.”

He explained, “V has a face where cuteness and handsomeness are perfectly harmonized, and he also exudes sexiness. People with this kind of charm often have an androgynous vibe with soft, feminine contours. Taehyung’s face shape is gently rounded, and even the tip of his nose is slightly rounded. But above all, what truly captures attention is his eyes.”

He continued, “With just one look, he can instantly captivate women. It’s only natural that he ranks No. 1 as the world’s most handsome man. Reaching that level requires immense popularity and charisma that draws everyone’s attention. He truly has a legendary face—a national treasure-level visual.”

Japan’s Shueisha previously reported in an article titled “Top 5 Faces You Really Want, Revealed by a Plastic Surgeon Who’s Hard to Book” that V, known as the epitome of good looks after ranking first in “The World’s Most Handsome Faces,” was selected in the category of “most desired facial line.”

In the article, the plastic surgeon evaluated him by saying, “V possesses a perfect E-line, with a clear facial line and jaw that create a charming face where softness and masculinity coexist.” He added, “To create facial contours as perfect as V’s would require an investment of about 40 million won.”

Brazilian journalist Renan Peixoto also commented, “For a long time, macho Western men were considered the standard of male beauty. However, as V—who embodies both Eastern and Western aesthetics—has emerged on the global stage, the standard of male beauty is shifting in a new direction.”

Meanwhile, the U.S.-based scientific facial analysis organization Qoves Studio explained why V has been recognized as the world’s top visual, stating, “V’s face shows high symmetry and is known for his flawless hair, thick eyebrows, long eyelashes, sharp jawline, and full pink lips. These are feminine traits, yet they are highly attractive.” They likewise highlighted the balance between his masculine and feminine features.
