Korean netizens made a comparison between the music videos “2.0” and “Hooligan.”
Back during "2.0," there was chaos for like two hours as soon as the MV dropped, but not it's a bit quieter lol.
I'm not being sarcastic—I just really loved "2.0" too.
From "Hooligan," it feels like the only thing worth keeping is Jimin's styling (not a solo stan).
Personally, I think Jungkook looked legendary in "Swim" Netflix studio live and Spotify, V in Gwanghwamun, Jin, RM, and J-Hope in the "2.0" MV, and Suga in the "Swim" pool live were the absolute best.

+ Since the comments are starting to turn messy, I'll step in and wrap things up.
Like I wrote in the main post, I'm not a solo stan, and I really hate akgaes. "Hooligan" itself just isn't my taste—I simply don't like the MV concept or styling. It makes me wonder if that was really the best they could do.
And please, don't start stirring things up with comments like "popular members this" or "line distribution that" or "are the vocal like just extras?"

1. BTS is all about performance!
↳ Totally agree!
↳ Yeah, yeah, that's right! They're all about
performance.
2. The only one I remember from the "Hooligan" MV is J-Hope.
↳ Ah, I agree with that too.
↳ Same, J-Hope was so cool.
↳ He's really cool, seriously J-Hopeㅠ
3. The "2.0" music video was really good.
4. But Jimin in "Hooligan" has such a great vibe though.
↳ From what I see, it feels like fans are just not
used to it yet lol.
↳ Even during "2.0," I was against Jimin's long
hair when people started liking it more, but
after "Hooligan," I'm liking the long hair for
the first time.
5. Honestly, "Hooligan" is pretty disappointingㅠ "2.0" was really good.
6. They made "2.0" so we'll that it feels like it'll be hard to surpass it for a while lol.
7. I definitely prefer "2.0," but it's been a while since we got something like this, so it's fun lol.
8. "2.0" had both humour and coolness, so it was fun lol.
9. I really liked Jimin's outfit lol, I keep thinking about it.
10. Of course it feels that way since the vocal line barely had any screen time lol, but I really like it.
↳ Same (x2), I just hope they release more
performance versions.
11. I absolutely loved Jimin's styling—I thought Jin was great too.
12. The rap line feels like they're just featuring in the MV... LOL. I don't even like Jimin's hair styling—maybe my standards are low. How do you even structure a group MV like this? Feels like four members are just extras.
13. I'm disappointed there wasn't much performance. Personally, I think J-Hope's visuals looked really cool lol.
14. Am I the only one who likes it...? I feel like watching this at a concert would be even more insane than "2.0"
15. I think it would be great to see live—the large number of dancers gives it a grand, impressive vibe.
16. I was expecting a music video or choreography like "Not Today," but it's such a disappointment.
17. I was expecting a performance-packed MV like "2.0," but it's such a disappointment. I guess I had too high expectations.
18. Putting screen time aside, the MV itself really boring. Was this one also directed by a foreign director? It's just... Really bad.
19. It's Jungkook's first release in four years, so each fan probably had their own expectations, but this just feels more and more off. I just hope it passes quickly.
20. Just!! The MV is bad. It's a performance track, but maybe because a foreign director shot it, it doesn't even feel K-pop... The performance isn't intense either... I really feel like a much better MV could've come outㅜㅜ
21. Honestly, thinking about the rap line's screen time during "damn" lol... Why was it so quiet back then? Akgaes always complain, whining about their biases not having enough screen time or not getting what they want—it's really annoying to watch, seriously.
22. Putting aside who has more or less screen time, it feels like they tried to cram too much in the MV, so nothing feels organized. It just feels poorly shot and poorly edited—really disappointing.
23. Maybe it's because I had high expectations, but it feels like it could have been filmed way cooler. It's a shame, but since it turned out like this, just release more MVs lol.
24. "2.0" was really well done, but "Hooligan" isn't that bad either! And just delete all the troll comments lol.
25. "2.0" is really one of the best MVs overall lol. But anyway, I'm grateful for whatever they give us lol. As soon as I saw it, I also thought of "Not Today."
26. I'm a fan, but are people really fighting over like it's some exhibition?
27. The song "Hooligan" is actually really goodㅠ It would've been fine if they'd just done it like the circulating challengeㅠ The director really lost the vibe.
28. The concept is fine, but the director didn't bring it to life. It's clear that Korean directors really know how to shoot MVs well.
29. I'm a fan of the vocal line too, but the akgaes in the comments are seriously annoying... There have been so many albums and songs centred on the vocal line, yet they're whining like crazy just because an MV for a non-title track came out? They're so gross, repeating the exact same lines like they heard it from somewhere else... Ugh...
30. I'm a Jimin stan, and I get that screen time can vary between the rap line and vocal line depending on the album concept, but this is way too extreme. In previous albums, the vocal members had way more parts. It's not like it's always like this—can we just stop talking about screen time for once?
