Jungkook makes a surprise announcement about solo world tour plans, sending ARMYs into a frenzy
After the second concert in Madrid as part of BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG', Jungkook still seemed to be overflowing with energy. Even after performing more than 20 songs with BTS over the course of several hours and giving his all on stage, the singer went live on Weverse Live to sing, chat with fans, and even take the time to film a video for the 10 Count Dance Challenge. When it comes to music, singing, dan dancing, Jungkook's passion and enthusiasm seem limitless—especially when he gets to do it all for his fans.
Jungkook has long been know for hosting livestreams where he spends hours singing for fans, prompting ARMYs to affectionately describe them as "mini concerts." It is precisely because of his deep love for the stage that so many fans have eagerly looked forward to the day he embarks on a solo world tour of his own. Following the tremendous success of GOLDEN, combined with his experience performing at his fellow BTS members' solo concerts, many believe it is only a matter of time before that dream becomes a reality.
Most recently, Jungkook once again excited fans when he unexpectedly brought up that very plan.
During his latest live streaming, while talking about the future, Jungkook shared, "What should I do? I mean, I'm definitely going to do solo activities again anyway. What would be good? But I think it's going to be fun. When I worked on the GOLDEN album, the schedule was really tight, but I still enjoyed it a lot. Back then, I just did what I felt drawn to."

Although he did not directly mention a solo tour, his confidence about returning as a solo artist immediately reminded fans of one of the dreams he has cherished throughout his solo career. During a late-night livestream last November, Jungkook sighed and admitted, "I wonder if I'll ever be able to hold a solo concert too." Just moments later, he smiled and encouraged himself, adding, "I'm sure I'll be able to do it someday."
However, the singer has repeatedly emphasized that his personal ambitions have never come before BTS. Jungkook previously stated, "Our No. 1 priority is group activities. No matter what happens, that will never change." He lso made a heartfelt promise to fans: "I know what my priorities re, and I want you to know that my priority is you." And just as fans are witnessing now, Jungkook is happily traveling the world with BTS as part of BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG.'
That said, Jungkook has never given up on his dream of holding a solo tour. He is simply waiting for the right time—and it seems he has already come up with a few ideas. During a BTS livestream last year, Jungkook enthusiastically talked about his vision for a future solo concert and was immediately met with enthusiastic support from the other members. J-Hope suggested, "Jungkook-ah, should we come and perform as guest artists?" Jungkook excitely exclaimed, "You guys have to come!" while pointing directly at Jin. The conversation did not stop there. They enthusiastically expanded on the idea, with j-hope saying he could cover "Standing Next To You," while Jungkook said he would cover "Killin' It Girl." BTS's Golden Maknae even suggested that Jin should perform "Super Tuna" on stage as well.
Fans understand that few people love performing on stage as much as Jungkook does. After watching the other BTS members embark on solo tours to meet ARMYs around the world, it is only natural that he would also want to introduce GOLDEN and his future solo project directly to fans through his own concerts. But as Jungkook himself has said, now simply is not the right time. Fans believe that in the future—most likely after BTS completes its year-long ARIRANG world tour—the remaining members, including Jungkook, will finally have the opportunity to consider launching solo concerts of their own.
Until that day comes, ARMYs are more than willing to wait for Jungkook. In the meantime, many have already begun suggesting ideas for his future solo world tour.
ARMYs' Reactions:
● We are extremely overwhelmed to hea this from you. I can't wait to hear your solo music. This literally gave me another lease on life. I'm not lying!!!
● How about performing with no shirt under your CK jacket? I'm not complaining really. I love it!!
● We are patiently waiting for you solo, Jungkook.
● I never doubted it, and I'll be here until whenever it happens.
● I loved seeing him perform happily on big stages and being so proud of his own achievements!! Truly, Jungkook, I'll love any song you give us. I just want to hear your voice.
● I'd honestly love for Jungkook and the rest of the members who haven't had the opportunity to have solo concerts to do one. It would be really amazing!
● I hope he does whatever makes him comfortable! We enjoy everything!
● Do whatever you want and whatever makes you happy. We will support you, Jungkook.
● A solo concert for Jungkook? I've been hoping for that ever since the time he released "Euphoria" back in 2018. I had already hoped that he would be able to have a solo career. And in 2023, that hope finally came true.
But thinking about it again, if only HYBE & BigHit could act with more "common sense." What I mean is, if they could treat all the member fairly.
