Jin Reveals Which Member Makes It Hardest for Him to Take a Selfie With

In K-pop culture, taking selfies and sharing photos on social media have become extremely popular trends. Idols don't just use these photos to show off their visuals; they also express their closeness and genuine personalities through the moments they share with fans.

Several BTS members, including Seokin, Namjoon, Taehyung, and Hoseok, frequently upload selfies to social media. Among them, "Worldwide Handsome" has long dominated the group's selfie game with countless close-up shots highlighting his striking features. Seokjin doesn't just share solo pictures, though. He also has a habit of taking photos with his fellow  members, doubling the charm in a single frame.





However, what fans might not know is that one BTS member rarely agrees to take selfies with the others. Even Seokjin has admitted that he feels somewhat "powerless" when it comes to taking pictures with him, revealing that he often to resort to a few clever tricks just to get the member to pose for a photo. And that member is none other than YOONGI!

During a conversation with comedian Park Myung-soo, Seokjin was reportedly  surprised to hear that Yoongi had willingly taken a photo with the comedian's daughter, Minseo, when they happened to run into each other outside a sauna. Seokjin immediately reacted, saying, "Oh, that's not something you see every day," leaving both fans and the comedian surprised. He then quickly explained his reaction, pointing out that Yoongi rarely takes photos with anyone, not even with Seokjin, the group's eldest member. When Park Myung-soo suggested that Yoongi might have simply agreed because he had been asked politely, Seokjin jokingly remarked that such an approach wouldn't work on him.

When Park asked Seokjin whether he was comfortable with story being broadcast, the BTS eldest humorously gave his approval without hesitation, saying, "Well, I think he already knows it himself."



Some fans were quick to point out that Yoongi simply isn't particularly interested in taking selfies, as he is the member who posts photos on social media the least compared to the others. Aside from promotional posts for his solo projects or pictures taken by other members, fans rarely get to see close-up shots of his face, especially in recent years.

What's even more surprising, however, is that despite Yoongi's reluctance to take photos with Seokjin, the eldest BTS member always manages to find a way to get him into a picture. His method? Catching Yoongi off guard before he has a chance to refuse. Seokjin explained, "Yoongi doesn't take photo even when I ask him to. So, whenever I'm near him, I just go over to him, take a photo, and leave." 





And practice makes perfect—the results speak for themselves! In fact, the BTS rapper appears to have more selfies with Seokjin than with any other member, or even with himself.



Following Seokjin's revelation, ARMYs took to social media to share their amusement, joking that the other members should start the same trick on Yoongi so fans can see more pictures of him.

● When the members talk so freely and casually about each other, while others wonder whether they can actually air those stories... It's so funny to me

● "I need to take a photo quickly and run." That's the key! The other members should learn this if they want to get a selca (selfie) with Yoongi.

● The Tannies are such a siblings. They'll drag each other in front of the entire world without blinking an eye because they know the other sibling wouldn't hesitate to do the same. And it's all okay because their love for each other is never in question.

● Only Seokjin could outsmart Yoongi like that. The way he uses sneak attacks to get selfiesis pure chaotic energy!

● Now I understand why Seokjin said it's not normal. Getting a selfie with Yoongi is basically like winning the lottery.

● Yoongi pretending to hate selfies but ending up in Seokjin's camera roll anyway... That's real brotherhood right there.

● I can totally imagin Seokjin saying, "Say cheese~!" while Yoongi looks completely done with everything.

● We need all the BTS members to start using Seokjin's method. Maybe then we'll finally get more Yoongi pictures in our timelines!
