Dispatch's response after Jungkook confronted them about his private schedule sparks ARMYs outrage

 


As global top-tier K-pop superstars, it's natural for BTS members to be busy with their personal schedules, especially overseas activities. This month alone, from J-Hope and V to Jungkook most recently, the members have been spotted frequently at the airport. 

While V's trip to the U.S. was publicized and has already concluded, the schedule of J-Hope and Jungkook have been more mysterious. But compares to Jungkook, fans at least know that J-Hope is currently in Dubai based on what he personally shared through his Instagram post, along with speculation about several possible events he might be attending. 

As for Jungkook, there have been at least two occasions this month when he traveled abroad without any media outlets reporting it: once around the 7th-10th, and more recently, from the 16th until he returned to Korea on the 19th.




Normally, it isn't unusual for reporters to be present at the airport when idols depart fr or return to Korea, especially top star like Jungkook. However, this usually happens only when the schedules are public — revealed in advance to the fans and press. For private schedules, media outlets and fans are not informed and do not wait at the airport, allowing idols to travel quietly without attention. 

Jungkook's recent trips fall into this later category. Yet on the 19th, when the BTS's golden maknae returned to Korea after a private overseas schedule, a few reporters were already at the airport — very few, of course, since almost no one knew about his schedule. Among them was a Dispatch reporter. The unexpected media surprised Jungkook, and he directly asked the Dispatch reporter, "How did you know I was coming here?"

Jungkook's straightforward question left the reporter flustered. After a brief pause, she responded evasively: "Oh?! It was posted. It showed that you're in Paris."


Although rumors had circulated on social media claiming Jungkook was in France based on photos taken by locals, the exact date of his return was completely unknown. The fact that Dispatch knew the specific flight and arrival time sell enough to wait in advance suggest they obtained the information from some kind of internal source. This possibility has made fans extremely angry. 

On the other hand, fans felt satisfied seeing Jungkook speak up about the invasion of privacy when he noticed reporters at the airport despite him being on a private schedule. ARMYs supported and praised him for his straightforwardness. Moreover, Jungkook remained incredibly polite to the inconsiderate reporters, answering their intrusive questions with a calm attitude afterward.
