BTS is set to reach another major milestone by filling London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the United Kingdom.
On the 6th, global concert promotor Live Nation UK announced on its official social media, "BTS ARMY has created the highest single-show capacity ever achieved at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium."
BTS will hold concerts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on July 6 and 7, where they are expected to perform for approximately 120,000 fans over two days. With a 360-degree stage designed to deliver an immersive experience, even more fans will be able to take part in the event.
Beginning on April 9 at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium, BTS will launch a large-scale world tour spanning 82 shows across 34 cities worldwide. A three Goyang concerts, along with all 41 scheduled performances in North America and Europe, sold out quickly as soon as ticket sales opened.
On March 20 at 1:00 p.m., BTS will release their fifth full-length album, Arirang. The following day, March 21, they will hold "BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG" at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul. The event will be broadcast live via Netflix to audiences in more than 190 countries and regions.
BTS is already setting meaningful records ahead of the release. As of the 4th, ARIRANG ranked No. 1 on Spotify's "Countdown Charts Global" for three consecutive weeks. This chart measures pre-save numbers for upcoming albums and singles.
Their previous releases continue to receive strong support. The music video for "Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey)," the title track from their 2019 album "MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA," surpassed 1.9 billion views on YouTube in January. It is their second music video to reach this milestone, following "Dynamite," which has exceeded 2 billion views.
In addition, the title track "Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)" from the anthology album "Proof" and 'Love Maze" from their third full-length album "LOVE YOURSELF 轉 'Tear'" each surpassed 100 million and 50 million cumulative streams, respectively, as of Defemver last year. As a result, they received "platinum" and "Gold" streaming certifications from the Recording Industry Association of Japan.
