The Reason Why Jungkook Chose a Different Outfit From the Other BTS Members During the Visit to National Palace

  On May 6 (local time), BTS met with Claudia Sheinbaum at National Palace. The visit took place following an official invitation from President Sheinbaum ahead of the group's three-day concert series at Estadio GNP Seguros. The meeting lasted approximately 40 minutes. The Mexican government welcomed BTS with honors reserved for "Distinguished Guests" and presented the group with a commemorative medal in recognition of their positive contributions. The inscription on the medal highlighted how BTS has inspired Mexican youth through music while also helping foster a community built on respect, empathy, diversity, and peace. Following their conversation with President Sheinbaum, all seven members stepped onto the balcony with her to greet around 50,000 people gathered at Zocalo.
