BTS's Jimin is once again proving his unparalleled popularity in Japan, showcasing his global influence.
On the 17th, Jimin was selected as the number one in the K-Pop male idol category in the survey "Unwavering Popularity! 2024 Hallyu Insights from Danmee Readers," conducted by the Korean Wave media outlet Danmee. This results reaffirms Jimin's strong fandom and widespread popularity in Japan.
The media stated, "Regardless of the global style, exposure through promotional activities is an undeniable major factor in determining popularity, and Jimin is exceptional." Despite having had no opportunities to appear in front of fans due to military service, Jimin secured the number one position an astonishing ten times in the "K-Pop Male Idol" popularity contest in 2024. These results serve as evidence of Jimin's unique presence and unwavering support among fans. Based on this, the media evaluated Jimin as a "figure with absolute support who boasts impenetrable popularity, reigning almost unchallenged."
