BTS's V Instagram post ranked in the top 3 most liked post worldwide in 2025, highlighting his presence as a global superstar.




On the 23rd of last month, V shared an update with the caption "Sergeant Kim reporting he's still alive! D-107." The post received 10 million likes in just 11 hours and 28 minutes and has now reached 14.8 million likes. It was showed 1.635 million times, proving his immerse popularity.




The post holds the record for the most liked Instagram post by an Asian star in 2025 and ranks third among all celebrities posts worldwide. So far, only three stars globally have surpassed 14 million likes in a single post.




The most liked post in 2025 is a series of photos uploaded by Billie Eilish on February 12, which garnered 14.92 million likes.

The second most liked post is a photo posted by Christiano Ronaldo on February 6, showing his family gathering to celebrate his birthday, which received 14.85 million likes.




Even during his military service, V continues to showcase his immense influence and popularity, ranking 5th in the "Top 1000 Most Influential Influencers in the world."

This is the highest ranking for an Asian star, further proving V's global fame and star power.




Last year, V dominated Instagram's "Top 12 Most Liked Posts of 2024," with five posts of his personal posts making the list, earning the most likes overall.

Including a group photo, he appeared in six photos in total, solidifying his status as one of the most beloved stars worldwide.




Currently, V has 66.92 million Instagram followers, and despite having comments restricted, his engagement rate (ER), which factors in likes and comments, is the highest among all global celebrities.

According to social media analytics platform SocialBook, V recorded an engagement rate of 20.2% over the last 60 days.

While V ranks 73rd in followers count, his engagement rate is 20 times higher than Christiano Ronaldo's (1%), who holds the #1 spot worldwide with 650 million followers. Even Selena Gomez, ranked #3 globally and #1 among pop stars, has an engagement rate of just 0.7%, highlighting the exceptional loyalty of V's followers.
