K-netizens are astonished by J-Hope becoming the first K-pop soloist to sell out stadium's concert ticket

 April 7th, 2025

On this day, Jin an J-Hope filled the space while waiting the full 7-member of BTS to return. There are only about 75 days left until BTS completed their military service.

Recently, Jin soothes his fans' hearts with charity news, while J-Hope is stirring up the atmosphere with ARMYs under the domes of stadiums abroad.

J-Hope started his first solo tour in February this year with 3 concerts in Seoul. Since last month 13th, he has moved to Brooklyn and started his North American tour. The current destination of the BTS rapper is Los Angeles.

But that's not all! J-Hope continued to make history by becoming the first K-pop solo artist to sell out a stadium concert in the United States.

This is a first time a Korean solo artist has held a 2-day concert in an American stadium but has filled it up immediately. It must be emphasized that many K-pop groups and even local singers have not been able to sell out tickets at American stadium before.

The shows show how warmly BTS in general and J-Hope in particular are received in the United States—a strict music market but also the dream of K-pop idols. Although he has just returned after two years of military service, J-Hope shows no signs of cooling down.

"J-Hope is the first Korean solo singer to enter the BMO Stadium, cementing his pioneering position in K-pop in general," Forbes praised J-Hope for his achievement in holding a concert at the stadium for the first time.

In addition, the media also emphasized his charisma on stage: "J-Hope, the first Korean singer to perform as a headliner in Lollapalooza, knows how to attract a large audience."

So far, all of J-Hope's performances in Seoul, Brooklyn, Chicago, Mexico City, San Antonio, Oakland and Los Angeles have been sold out. Industry insiders also estimate that J-Hope's upcoming Asia tour will continue the success with a total audience expected to reach 500,000 people.

This milestone has highlighted J-Hope's career as a solo artist. Korean netizens were impressed by his unprecedented achievement, praising the "BTS bloodline."
