An ARMY reveals her unexpected experience sitting near Jungkook on this morning flight

After near three-year hiatus due to mandatory military service, BTS, the global icon of the Hallyu wave is preparing for a comeback that is considered a "blockbuster" of the Korean entertainment industry in the second half of 2025.

Although there are still about 20 days until the 5 members who is still in the military complete their military service, the closer it gets to June, the more excited the fandom becomes and the members also have many surprise activities. In addition to the previously announced scheduled of Jin and J-Hope, ARMYs have recently been overwhelmed by the appearance of some of youngest members of the group.

Two days ago, Jimin was discovered by some MOAs (TXT fandom) at Gimpo Airport with his close friend, singer and actor Lee Saeon. The latest images of Jimin during his military leave before his discharge made ARMYs emotional because it has been a long time since they saw him in person.

But that's not all! The next surprise that fans received today is seeing Jungkook on the same place. A few photos shared on social media showed Jungkook in casual clothes and a mask, appearing at Gimpo Airport, shocking the fandom.

It has been almost two years since ARMYs last saw him at the airport like this. Jungkook's handsome looks and captivating eyes cannot be overshadowed behind the mask.

In addition to the shared photos, an ARMY's photo also quickly emerged shortly after. This fan said she had a memorable experience flying on the same flight as Jungkook this morning and attached a photo of the autograph he gave her as proof.

In the post, this girl said, "I went to Gimpo Airport early in the morning because I was going to Tokyo. I entered the airport very early and sat inside, I saw a photo of Jungkook outside the airport. I realised that I might meet him by chance. Then I looked up and saw that he was sitting in front of me.

I was really shocked at the time, but I saw that someone else had noticed him, so I thought he would go up and say a few words, but I didn't expect him to sign for us directly. It was really completely unexpected. He signed for the three of us, lucky people and then boarded the plane.

As expected, we were on the same flight. What's even more coincidental is that I was the first one to get off the plane, and I didn't notice that he was the second one. He walked shoulder by shoulder with me, and I couldn't help but talk to him.

I told him that I really liked his music, etc. Then, when the jet bridge was almost over, I suddenly said 'nice to meet you.' In just two days, the fandom got a taste of what "BTS comeback" days are like as 4/7 members of the group were spotted at the airport for their schedules.

Jin and J-Hope are obviously doing their overseas promotions and performances while Jimin and Jungkook seem to be enjoying their vacation or maybe even preparing for a project during their last days off from the military before their discharge. 

As June approaches, fans can't be more excited to count down the days for BTS' comeback!
