[Translation] Over 60,009 visitors attend the 2025 BTS FESTA—A festival that captivated the world



Over 60,000 fans from around the globe gathered in Goyang city to celebrate BTS's debut anniversary.

BTS held the 2025 BTS FESTA over two days, June 13-14, at Halls 9-10 of the KINTEX Exhibition Center II in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. Even a day before the event, on June 12, massive crowds of fans swarmed the venue, showcasing BTS' immersive popularity.

Fans, known as ARMY, arrived at the event excitedly, carrying meaningful purple accessories and ARMY Bombs (BTS official light stick), fully immersing themselves Ina variety of programs.

One particularly emotional feature was the "Voice Zoned," where messages recorded by the members were played:

  • Namjoon: "We've missed you so much"
  • Seokjin: "We'll continue to uplift you together with our members"
  • Yoongi: "I really miss you all. I love you"
  • Hoseok: "Thank you for consistently supporting and loving us for such a long time"
  • Jimin: "We've missed you all so much"
  • Taehyung: "I'm excited thinking about trying new things after I return"
  • Jungkook: "We've really missed each other, haven't we?"
The members themselves participated in scripting these heartfelt messages.

The "Coloring Zone," where fans could write messages to BTS on large art panels, became filled with sincere notes. Fans from all over the world left touching words in various languages, covering the wall with emotion and appreciation.

The "BTS Locker" exhibit, showcasing the unique tastes and personalities of all seven members, dre attention. The display included their favorite foods, hobbies, cherished items like microphones and LP records, and photos—offering visitors a rich and intimate glimpse into the lives of the members.

In the "Trophy Zone," awards received by BTS and ARMY were displayed, highlighting the group's glittering history and building excitement for the future. Notably, awards like "iHeartRadio Music Awards 'Best Fan Army'" (2020-2024)" and "MTV EMAs 'Biggest Fan' (2019, 2021)"—awarded directly to ARMY, were revealed to the public for the first time, drawing steady crowds.

BTS FESTA is an annual event held to commemorate BTS' debut on June 13, featuring various activities both online and offline over roughly two weeks. This year's offline celebration included more than 20 exhibitions and interactive programs that drew immense attention.

To accommodate international fans, the event staff included experts who fluent in English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean sign language, and all official materials—such as the website and entry pamphlets, were offered in four languages (Korean, English, Japanese and Chinese). Visitors were also able to check crowd levels at each booth every 30 minutes via the website, which was praised for improving the viewing experience.

In honour of the event, a photo wall set up at Ilsan Lake Park, the banners were displayed throughout Goyang—including at Ilsanseo District Office and the Goyang Tourism Information Center, transforming the entire city into a BTS celebration.
