HYBE, BTS Full-group Tour and Soaring ATP Drive Earnings... Tickets + Merchandise Up To ₩1.4 trillion

"The key of the 2026 BTS tour is not attendance but pricing... Global ATP expected to be ₩270,000 (approximately $184)"

There is an outlook that BTS's Full-group world tour—set to resume in 2026—will to exceed market expectations, particularly in terms of higher ticket (ATD), rather than audience size.

Securities analysts predict that this tour alone could generate up to 1.4 trillion won (approximately $954,800,000,000) in revenue.

Im Do-young, a researcher at Daol Investment & Securities, said on the 28th regarding HYBE: "Rather than the member shows or ticket sales volume, investors should expect a 'surprise' from an increase in ATP for the BTS tour," while maintaining a BUY investment rating and a largest share price of 420,000 won (approximately $286).

According to the report, BTS is expected to begin their full-scale tour at the end of April 2026, following an album release in March. Im stated, "Considering they announced their " Map Of The Soul" tour schedule is likely to be revealed by January next year," adding that investor expectations may start impacting the stock price from late December this year.

Market attention is focused on the tour's scale and pricing. According to Bloomberg and other foreign media, the BTS tour is expected to have around 65 shows, with over 30 shows in North America alone.

Im noted, "If we include typical European stops, the combined of North American an European shows is expected to exceed 37 [shows]," explaining that "Considering recent mega-IP tours and around 60 shows, the BTS tour could reach the low 70s at maximum."

A key revenue factor for this tour is expected to be ticket pricing. He added, "Since a stadium tour is already assumed, ATP growth rather than audience size will drive the performance surprise."

Specifically, North America's ATP is expected to rise to around $220. Im explained, "Blackpink already rwched $248 in their last tour, and even solo tours by J-Hope ($198) and Suga ($218), where demand is lower than for a full-group tour, surpassed $200 level," suggesting low resistance to price increases.

As a result, the global ATP is estimated to rise to around 270,000 won (approximately $184), surpassing market expectation (around 250,000 won / $171), bringing ticket revenue alone to approximately 900 billion won (approximately $613,800,000).

Growth in concert-related merchandise (MD) sales is also a key point. Im emphasized, "Since this will be the first full-group tour in about four years after the pandemic-limited tours, MD sales centered around a renewed lightstick are expected to grow."

He added, "HYBE has recently been actively expanding MD strategies, including pop-up stores in non-concert regions, and given BTS's high purchashing-power fanbase, MD sales growth is expected to be significant," forecasting that total tour revenue (ticket+MD) will be in the range of 1.3 to 1.4 trillion won (approximately $886,600,000 to $954,800,000).".
