The Son of "Famous Female Dopleganger of Jungkook" Debuts with Hairstyle Identical to the Idol

 


ARMYs are likely familiar with the name Hirai Saya—the wife of veteran actor Shim Hyung-tak. Why? Because from the very first time the actor introduced her—then still his fiancรฉe on the show Same Bed, Different Dreams — she quickly went viral on social media for her striking resemblance to Jungkook, especially during his early-debut days. Many fans even gave her nicknames such as the "female version of Jungkook" and "Jungkook's older sister." 

Interestingly, the topic became so widespread that even Shim Hyungtak, his wife, and Jungkook himself became aware of it. While the actor and his wife felt honored to be associated to the BTS superstar, Jungkook appeared amused and reacted cheerfully whenever fans mentioned it. 




After about two years of marriage, the couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Haru, in January 2025. Their first born immediately became a hot topic on social media due to his striking appearance. Fans noticed that Haru inherited many of Hirai Saya's features, making him resemble a young Jungkook — from his big round eyes to his cute mouth. 




Even more surprisingly, because Hirai Saya is a huge Jungkook fan, the baby seems to have picked up on the influence — right down to his hairstyle. The latest detail about Haru related to Jungkook has completely charmed fans. 

In episode 12 of KBS2's variety show The Return of Superman, Shim Hyungtak took his son Haru to a hair salon. There, the baby get his first-ever haircut, astonishing everyone with his thick hair despite being only nine months old.

Before the haircut began, Shim Hyungtak told the hairstylist that Haru's wanted him to have an idol hairstyle, and the stylist enthusiastically agreed to give him a "BTS hairstyle." A reference photo of Jungkook's hairstyle was even displayed alongside Haru's new haircut, showing an adorable resemblance.





But that's not all—little "mini Jungkook" Haru, sparking his new hairstyle, has officially entered the entertainment industry as a commercial model. Skincare brand ATOPALM signed contracts with Hirai Saya and Haru for their laundry detergent and fabric softener campaign.





In the promotional photos, Haru looks irresistibly adorable. Fans also praised the "Jungkook idol hairstyle" carefully chosen by his mother, saying it suits him perfectly and makes him look handsome even at such a young age, just like the idol himself.




Haru is now receiving an outpouring of love and support, with many calling him the cutest baby in the world.
