Jungkook Reveals the “Heart of BTS” Who Keeps the Group Bonded Like a Family

 

BTS have been together for over a decade, weathering countless ups and downs, yet what has remained constant is their complete seven-member lineup—just as it was when they first debuted. This is no easy feat for K-pop groups, as many either disband, fail to maintain their original lineup, or eventually go their separate ways as solo artists after only a few years.

BTS’s seven-member team and their unprecedented success over more than ten years are the result of the tight bond among the members, with leader RM often described as the “brain” and “backbone” of the group. RM’s leadership throughout the years is undeniable: he knows how to guide the members, unify their opinions, represent the group, and make the most accurate final decisions.

However, alongside a decisive “brain,” a warm “heart” is also essential to maintaining the bond and close relationships among the members. There is another member who has supported RM since the very beginning, connecting the members—especially the younger ones—on an emotional level. He is also the one who helps keep the group’s atmosphere lighthearted, comfortable, and full of energy.

That member is none other than Jin—and this was confirmed by Jungkook himself during a live broadcast with fans.

At one point, Jungkook reflected on the moment BTS reunited after a long time apart and said, “There’s a reason our team is so bright. Jin hyung is like that—he has that kind of role in the team. Ah, I miss the members. Ah, I miss our members. BTS!” He even played Jin’s “Super Tuna” and enjoyed it in high spirits, making his feelings even more heartfelt.

Not only that, Jungkook expressed admiration for Jin’s creativity in writing the song, saying, “Wow, Jin hyung really… shakes head He’s not normal. I don’t think I would have been able to do this. Did he really do this just for ARMY? ARMYs, you know how Jin hyung is, right? Wow, how did he think of releasing a song like this?”

From Jungkook’s perspective, it is clear that Jin plays an irreplaceable role as the “heart” that keeps all seven members beating as one.
