Important Weather Alerts and Regulations That ARMYs Need to Know Before Attending the BTS Concert in Tampa on April 25

During the past weekend, BTS successfully held their concert as part of the "BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' IN TOKYO" at Tokyo Dome. This makred their first return to the venue after 7 years and 5 months since "BTS WORLD TOUR 'LOVE YOURSELF : SPEAK YOURSELF'" in November 2018.

The iconic Tokyo Dome was filled with over 110,000 fans chanting in Korean along to the melody of the traditional folk song "Arirang"—a symbolic moment sure to be remembered for years to come. Meanwhile, BTS delivered a full 180-minute performance featuring powerful live vocals and explosive choreography. They also conducted most of their talk segments fluently in Japanese, expressing their heartfelt emotions to fans after such a long time apart.

Following the Tokyo concerts, BTS will move to the United States to continue their tour. The group is scheduled to meet local at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on April 25, 26, and 28. Although there are still a few days before the first show, fans have already begun preparing and sharing important information to help ensure a safe and smooth experience for everyone who attending.

One of the most frequently discussed concerns is weather in Tampa in late April. According to forecasts, temperatures during the concert days may reach around 31°C, while during soundcheck at approximately 5 PM, it will still be close to 29°C. As a result, local fans are particularly concerned for those traveling from other areas, warning about the risks of exhaustion or heatstroke after prolonged exposure to direct sunlight—especially for those arriving early to line up or participate in pre-show activities.

One fan shared:
"To ARMYs who are not from Florida, just a reminder that RayJay is a open stadium. It is sunny until 8 PM. I recommend you for bringing a small rechargeable fan and a hat to protect yourself, especially if you plan to arrive early. Bring a sunscreen stick, water wipes, and deodorant. Stay hydrated. The temperature may change slightly, but not by much."

Another fan—a Tampa native who frequently visits Raymond James Stadium and has also worked there during several events—gave similar advice:
"Tampa in April is no joke. Make sure you wear clothing that has good ventilation but also provides sun protection. Wear a hat (a bucket hat is best since you can fold it and put it in your pocket later) if you can, and sunscreen! Most importantly, stay hydrated."

This fan also added:
"Note that you are not allowed to bring a reusable water bottles or any bottles at all. You can buy a bottle inside (they won't give you the cap), but you can refill it at the station. If you want a cap for your water, you can sneak in one from a Smartwater or Dasani bottle—that's what they sell inside."

Other cooling items suggested by fans include fully charged handled fans. Another tip shared was:
"A game changer at my last super hot and humid concert was using cooling packs from Amazon! My friend and I put them on our heads and the backs of our necks, and even shared them with people around us."

In addition to the weather, local fans also pointed out that Raymond James Stadium has particularly strict regulations regarding the size of bags allowed inside compared to other venues. One fan even shared a screenshot of the policy, writing: "ARMY, if you plan to see BTS in Tampa, Florida, at Raymond James Stadium, please be awar of their 'no bag' policy."

Fans who attending the concert are advised to:
  • Use a lanyard or handheld accessories for essential items such as your lightstick (ARMY Bomb) and mobile phone.
  • Pack carefully: regardless or the type of bag you bring, no dimension can exceed 4.5 x 6.5 inches.
  • Take advantage of on-site lockers, although availability is limited.

In cases where a larger bag is necessary for medical reasons, attendees should visit the stadium's website and complete the ADA form, which can be found under the Health and Safety section.

Another important note concerns cash usage. Based on personal experience, one fan shared:
"Do not bring any cash! The stadium is cashless, and no one will accept cash. Add your cards to your phone to pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay and save space in your purse. Don't forget for always bring your ID."

With alll this helpful information circulating, ARMYs from around the world preparing to attend the Tampa concerts have expressed their appreciation for the support from local fans. While some have voiced concerns about the weather and venue regulations, other have reassured them that there will be plenty of fellow ARMYs around to help—highlighting a supportive and united fandom culture.

ARMYs Comments:

1. Thank you! I'm flying from El Salvador, and I'm very nervous. At least this helps me prepare.

2. I will pray for your safety. Most hotels around Tampa will have ARMYs—just say hi and see if you can go together.

3. Don't worry. Tampa is very safe, and you'll see the city full of ARMYs. If you need help, just talk to others—we are family, okay?

4. I'm from the Caribbean, so I hope I come well prepared! I hope the weather will be kind—not extremely hot.

5. Also, remember it's super humid in Florida! If you're from a drier place, keep in mind that heat affects your body more in humid weather. Staying hydrated is very important.

6. It was so hot for Jin, but thankfully it was cool inside. I just hope we get some wind. I'm definitely bringing a hat.

7. I'm seriously worried for the guys—leather willbe unbearable in this weather! Waiting to see the outfits.

8. We don't have space in our tiny purses for everything, but yes to everything you said. It's supposed to be super humid those days too.

9. Heavy emphasis on the mini fan. Florida heat is no joke. Bless you for your advice.

10. It's so kind of you to support ARMYs from all over like this. We'll be extra careful—see you this weekend, and let's have an amazing time together!
