Jimin's Hairstylist Reveals His Upcoming Hair Plans, Leaving ARMY Ecstatic

During BTS's widly successful ARIRANG world tour, the members carefully prepared their perfect looks to meet fans across the globe. Among them, Jimin's long hair—appearing for the first time in his career—quickly captured everyone's attention.

Throughout the ARIRANG tour, each stage has showcased a different version of Jimin, featuring fresh and ever-evolving style transformations. When he first appeared with long blond hair at the Comeback Live stage in Gwanghwamun Square in March, the idol earned a series of memorable nicknames such as "Lion Jimin" and "Bukcheong Lion Dancer." Since then, he has continuously presented new looks through a wide variety of styling techniques built around his signature long hair.

At one point in Las Vegas, Jimin left fans in awe when he appeared with the longest hair he had ever worn, reaching his shoulders. With his golden locks and flawless facial features, the singer was compared to a prince straight out of a comic book. On the other nights, he also went viral with intricate braided hairstyles woven into the crown of his long blond hair. Soon afterwar, the keyword "Jimin Braids" quickly trended on social media, inspiring countless fan recreations on TikTok and other online platforms. The media also paid special attention to Jimin's dramatic hair transformations.

It has now been more than three months since Jimin adopted the long-haired image, and because idol hairstyles rarely remain unchanged for extended periods, many ARMYs have been wondering how much longer he plans to keep this beloved look. Fortunately, a recent pot from the hair extension specialist who worked directly with Jimin appears to offer a small hint about his future plans. 

Specifically, Bomi, the owner of Pretty Salon, recently shared a photo of the autograph she received from Jimin after working with him. Notably, in his handwritten message, Jimin wrote: "Thank you for always supporting me. I hope you and the little ones stay healthy always! I'll come back again to get my hair done!!" His emphasis on returning to the salon to have his hair done again has been interpreted by fans as a sign that he intends to maintain this long hairstyle for the foreseeable future, much to their excitement.

Previously, BigHit Music's vice president revealed in an interview that the decision to keep his hair long was entirely Jimin's own choice. The idol himself also shared during a live broadcast that when he decided to grow out his hair, he faced strong opposition from people around him, including his management company, and that his mother was the only person who fully supported the idea. This demonstrates Jimin's clear awareness and determination regarding his image transformation on stage.

Meanwhile, returning to the hairstylist's post, she had previously worked with Jimin during the "Butter" era and later had the opportunity to work with him again before he departed for Las Vegas to attend the AMAs. Due to confidentally requirements, she was unable to reveal any details about the singer's hairstyle before he officially unveild it to the public at the time.

Interestingly, despite having 22 years of professional experience, it was the first time in her career that she had to take Cheongsimhwan (a traditional Korean herbal remedy used to calm the nerves) before beginning her work because she was so nervous. She described the opportunity to take care of Jimin's hair extentions and help create the iconic long-haired image seen throughout the tour.
