Jin Names the Hardest BTS Member to Take a Selfie With—And His Secret to Dealing With It

In K-pop culture, taking selfies and posting photos on social media is an incredibly popular trend. Idols don't just show off their visuals, they also express their closeness and authenticity through the photos they share with fans.

Several BTS members—including Seokjin, Namjoon, Taehyung, and Hobi—frequently upload selfies to social meia. Among them, "Worldwide Handsome" once dominated the group's selfie game with countless close-up shots highlighting his flawless features. Not only does Seokjin share solo photos, but he also has a habit of taking pictures with the other members, doubling the charm within a single frame.

However, what fans might not know is that among the BTS members, there is one person who rarely lets the others take selfies with him. Even Seokjin has confessed that he feels somewhat "powerless" when it comes to taking photos with this member, revealing that he often has to resort to a few clever tricks just to persuade him to pose for a picture. And that member is none other than Yoongi!

During a conversation with comedian Park Myungsoo, Seokjin was reportedly shocked when he learned that Yoongi had voluntarily taken a photo with the MC's daughter, Minseo, when they happened to meet outside a sauna. Seokjin commented, "Oh, that's not common," leaving both fans and the comedian surprised. He quickly explained his reaction, saying that Yoongi rarely takes photos with anyone—even with BTS's older member, Seokjin himself. While Park Myungsoo suggested that he may have simply asked politely at the time, Seokjin jokingly remarked that such an approach wouldn't work on Yoongi.

What park asked Seokjin whether it was okay to share this "sensitive story" on air, Yoongi's older-brother figure humorously agree right away, saying, "Well, I think he already knows it himself!"

Some fans were quick to point out that Yoongi simply isn't very interested in selfies, as he is the member who posts photos on social media the least. Aside from promoting his solo projects or appearing in photos taken by other members, fans rarely get to see close-up shots of his face—especially in recent years.

What's even more surprising, however, is that although Yoongi doesn't actively take photos with Seokjin, the eldest BTS member always finds a way to "force" him into one. His method? Catching Yoongi off guard before he has a chance to refuse. Seokjin explained, "Yoongi doesn't take photos even when I ask him to. I go to Yoongi when I'm near him. I just need to take a photo and walk away."

And practice makes perfect! The results speak for themselves! In fact, the BTS rapper has more selfies with Seokjin than with any other member—or even with himself.

Following Seokjin's revelation, ARMY humorously commented that the other members should start using the same trick on Yoongi so fans can see him more often.

ARMYs Reactions:

● When the members talk so freely and casually about each other and then wonder whether they should be sharing it publicly or not, it's just so funny to me.

● Take the photo quickly and run. That's the key. The other members should learn this if they want a selca with Yoongi.

● The tannies are such siblings. They'll drag each other in front of the whole world without blinking an eye because they know the other person wouldn't hesitate to do the same. And it's all okay because their love for each other is never in question.

● Only Jin could outsmart Yoongi like that. The way he uses sneak attacks for selfies is pure chaotic energy!

● Now I understand why Jin said it's not normal. Getting a selfie with Yoongi is basically like winning the lottery.

● I can totally imagine Jin saying, "Say cheese!" while Yoongi looks so completely done with life.

● We need all the BTS members to use Seokjin's method. Maybe then we'll finally get more Yoongi photos on our timelines.

● Yoongi pretends to hate selfies but still ends up in Jin's camera roll anyway... That's real brotherhood right there.
