Jungkook reveals the BTS member he enjoys bothering the most

 

As the youngest member of BTS, who was only 14 years old when he debuted alongside his older brothers, playfulness and childish pranks have always been signature traits of Jungkook's personality. During his early years at BigHit and shortly after debit, Jungkook appeared to be a rather reserved child. However, and he grew older and gained confidence, his mischievous side became increasingly apparent. 

Even now, as he rapidly approaches his 30s, ARMYs still frequently catch him excitedly joking around, dancing, or playfully messing with his hyungs, whether backstage or on a massive stage. Age has never been a barrier to preserving the youngest member's innocence.

Yoongi once made a hilarious yet highly accurate comment about their maknae: "Even when I'm 60, I think Jeon Jungkook will still be freaking annoying." However, part of the reason Jungkook has been able to maintain this innocence and fully embrace his maknae status is the endless pampering and affection he receives from the members. Even after making that remark, Yoongi warmly added, "I hope he is," showing just how much he adores his younger brother's childish side.

This topic also brings to mind a time when an ARMY asked Jungkook on a sticky note, "Which member di you enjoy reading or bothering the most?" At the time, Jungkook responded by ranking all the members at number one, except for Namjoon and Yoongi. In other words, he loves teasing and bothering all of his hyungs except the leader and Yoongi—someone in BTS who was definitely not to be messed with.

Jungkook answered this question during BTS' early post-debut years. ARMYs believed that Jungkook's well-known admiration for Namjoon, combined with Namjoon's position as the leader, created a barrier that made the maknae feel he couldn't be as bold as with Namjoon as he was with the other members. Meanwhile, Yoongi was famous for valuing peace and quiet, absolutely hating being disturbed or subjected to loud noises. During his younger days, he was even known for responding with a deadpan expression or a hilarious curse word if someone teased him too much. Naturally, Jungkook wasn't foolish enough to bother him.

However, today's Jungkook seems vastly different from the Jungkook of his debut years. Nowadays, ARMYs frequently witness him teasing both Namjoon and Yoongi with complete ease. Namjoon often plays along with the maknae's antics and always looks at Jungkook with affection, repeatedly expressing how proud he is of the youngest member's grown and success.

In particular, Jungkook has become the only member in BTS who dares to "pull the fighter's whiskers," comfortably teasing Yoongi without any fear of being scolded. At a past event, when asked whether he had ever scolded the other members, Yoongi admitted that he had—but never to Jungkook. He explained that he always reminds himself for never to raise his voice at the youngest member because "doing so to a child is inappropriate."

Jungkook himself is fully aware of this privilege and once confidently declared, "Yoongi hyung would never scold me." He even shared an anecdote about asking Yoongi to teach him piano, only to be turned down for one simple reason: Yoongi was afraid he might accidentally scold Jungkook if the maknae made mistake while practicing.

The most example occured during the performance of "Body to Body" at the Stanford concert. When Hoseok's "I Need" part came on, the members immediately began their familiar playful antics in stage. However, tightly hugging Yoongi, shaking him back and forth, and repeatedly pretending to kick him in the butt without making him annoyed is something only Jungkook could ever get away with. In the videos ARMYs could easily see Jungkook smiling radiantly and cheerfully fooling around with his older brother, while Yoongi—someone famously known for disliking being bothered—simply let the maknae do whatever he wanted. He even smiled at Jungkook's pranks.

Over time, even the people Jungkook once " didn't dare to bother" have become the brothers he loves teasing the most. Or simply put, what he loves the most is simply being alongside his six hyungs. 

ARMYs couldn't help but gush over the heart warming dynamic:

● " Yoongi's 'scolding dictionary' literally deleted Jungkook's name from day one. Custom-made privilege,"
