A complete explanation of the writing in the 2026 BTS Dalmajung video

The writing in both photos consists of traditional Chinese symbols, and both photos appear to be artistic representations of the same five auspicious concepts: ็ฆ、็ฆ„、ๅฏฟ、ๅ–œ、่ดข (Fรบ, Lรบ, Shรฒu, Xi, Cร i). The exact brush forms are highly stylised, so I'd treat the character identification as a strong interpretation rather than a definitive calligraphy reading.

1. The first photo — vertical composition

The artwork appears to arrange the five concepts vertically, incorporating animals, plants, clouds, and other traditional motifs into the brushwork.

็ฆ (Fรบ) — Blessing / Good fortune

The wish of happiness, well-being, peace, and general good fortune. In Chinese decorative art, ็ฆ is frequently represented through auspicious imagery and wordplay.

็ฆ„ (Lรน) — Prosperity / Official success

Originally associated with the salary or income of an official, it came to represent career success, prosperity, status, and material well-being. The deer (้นฟ) is particularly associated with ็ฆ„ because of the similar pronunciation.

ๅฏฟ (Shรฒu) — Longevity

A wish for long life, health, and ensuring life. The crane, pine, and other longevity motifs are traditionally associated with ๅฏฟ. The crane in particular is strongly connected with longevity in Chinese art.

ๅ–œ (Xว) — Happiness / Joy / Celebration

Represents joy, happiness, celebration, and auspicious occasions. It is especially prominent in wedding and other celebratory imagery; the familiar ๅ› ("double happiness") is a related motif.

่ดข (Cรกi) — Wealth / Material Prosperity

Represents wealth, financial abundance, and prosperity. Traditional representations include coins, ingots, treasure vessels, fish, and other wealth-associated imagery.

So collectively:
็ฆ็ฆ„ๅฏฟๅ–œ่ดข
Blessing   Prosperity   Longevity   Happiness   Wealth

It is essentially a wish for a well rounded, prosperous and fortunate life. Chinese sources describe these five as a common auspicious combination expressing wishes for happiness, career/prosperity, long life, celebration, and wealth.

2. Horizontal composition

The second image appears to be the same five-character concept presented horizontally.

็ฆ → ็ฆ„ → ๅฏฟ → ๅ–œ → ่ดข

What makes this one particularly interesting is how the artist integrates traditional rebuses and auspicious imagery into the characters.

For example:

● ๐ŸฆŒdeer (้นฟ) → strongly associated with ็ฆ„ (lรบ) because of the similar sound.
● ๐Ÿฆ Crane → associated with ๅฏฟ, longevity.
● ๐ŸŒธ Plum Blossoms → traditionally associated with resilience, renewal and winter, plum, orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum are the famous Four Gentlemen of Chinese painting.
● ๐ŸŽ‹ Bamboo → associated with integrity, uprightness, flexibility and resilience.
● ☁️ Clouds → auspiciousness, peace and heavenly associations.

There are important point here: Chinese art symbolism isn't always a one-object = one-meaning dictionary. The meaning can change according to the combination of motifs, the inscription, the historical period and the context.

The overall meaning

If these two artworks were given as a pair, I would interpret their message as essentially:

"May you have good fortune prosperity and success a long life, happiness and abundant wealth."

Or more naturally in English:

"May you be blessed with good fortune, prosperity, happiness, and wealth."

And there is a nice distinction between the two layouts: the first is a vertical, almost continuous composition, while the second makes the five auspicious characters easier to see individually. Both draw on the long Chinese tradition of turning calligraphic characters into pictorial designs rather than simply writing them in ordinary script.
