If You Had to Marry a BTS Member, Who Would You Choose? RM Gives a Surprising Answer



Over the past decade, BTS have become ideal boyfriend and husband figures for millions of people around the world, seemingly possessing every quality one could hope for: good looks, wealth, fame, talent, and outstanding character. It is not only ordinary fans who admire them—even many internationally renowned female celebrities have named BTS members when asked about their ideal type of man to date or marry.

From Japanese model Shuzo, who has served as a face for luxury brands such as Gucci, Celine, and Louis Vuitton, to Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams, as well as some Indonesian artists like Furry Citra, Vanesha Prescilla, Luna Maya, and Tiara Andini, Miss Universe Korea Hanna Kim, and Victoria's Secret Angel Gizele Oliveira, many have spoken about BTS with admiration.




Meanwhile, after spending around eight years living together in the dorms and more than thirteen years working side by side almost 24/7, the BTS members are frequently asked playful questions about one another. Fans often ask which member they would recommend to their sisters or to ARMY. However, it seems some fans found those questions a little too easy and decided to raise the difficulty level by asking instead: "If you had to marry one of the members, who would it be?"

What made the situation even more interesting was RM's completely unexpected response, which ended up leaving fans stunned. Rather than choosing anyone, he crossed out the names of all the members listed and clearly wrote a brand-new answer: "You!"




The moment quickly spread throughout the ARMY community and has since been regarded by many as one of the most heartwarming responses RM has ever given. Rather than making the question about choosing one member over another, he gracefully redirected it into a sweet reply to his fans. At the same time, it also showcased his intelligence and tact in handling a question that could easily have created and awkward situation.

The story also reminded fans of another memorable moment involving j-hope. During a video-call fansign, he was asked, "Can you introduce me to a boyfriend from among the BTS members?" After thinking for a moment, he replied, "I'll introduce you to a 'friend,'" before naturally calling out, "RM."



Known for his high IQ, calm, and dependable personality, sense of humor, and comforting presence, RM gives off the energy of a true "safe space"—exactly the kind of qualities many people would hpe for in a romantic partner. From the perspective of someone who now has a brother-in-law, J-Hope seemed to feel that RM was the perfect recommendation for ARMY.

Looking at these two moments, can we all agree that RM and ARMY are just meant to be? Honestly, even his stage name proves that his whole heart is always dedicated to the fans!

Nicole Kim, BTS's interpreter makes a return to Big Hit Music in a high-profile role

For long-time ARMYs, Nicole Kim is no stranger.   BTS is now just about a week from kicking off the Latin American leg of their highly anticipated ARIRANG World Tour. Cities across Latin America where BTS are scheduled to perform this October are actively mobilizing resources to prepare for the massive crowds of fans expected to attend.  According to BigHit Music, local authorities are making operational plans based on an estimate of more than 150,000 visitors.
