BTS successfully concluded their North American tour with the "BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' IN LOS ANGELES" held at SoFi Stadium in California, USA, on September 1-2 and 5-6 (local time). Achieving the remarkable feat of selling out all 31 shows across 12 regions, this tour drew a total of 1.92 million spectators. Notably, the four Los Angeles concerts were live-streamed to 177 countries and regions worldwide via Weverse, drawing an explosive response from global superfans.

❖ BTS Rewrites the History of SoFi Stadium... Setting Unrivaled Records for "Most Performances and Largest Audience as a Group"

In just four shows of this Los Angeles concert, more than 282,000 people flocked to the venue. BTS, who performed a total of eight times, including shows held at the same venue in 2021, proudly earned the title of the "team with the most concerts" (with a cumulative audience of about 496,000) at SoFi Stadium and became the group with the largest attendance since the arena opened.

The emotion at the site was also intense. On the 1st, for Jungkook's birthday, and on the 12th for RM's birthday, tens of thousands of attendees sang celebratory songs, creating waves of golden and blue flashes. During the stage performance of "Body to Body,"  track from their fifth full-length album, a spectacular scene unfolded as the Korean flags surged in unison to the rhythm of the Korean folk song "Arirang." The members said, "Every moment was so happy that it passed in an instant. I hope we remain connected forever, no matter where we are," while Jungkook expressed his affection for fans through a postcard he drew himself.

❖ Foreign Media Praise Them as "World-Class Pop Artists"—Official National Receptions Including the Declaration of "BTS Week"

International media outlets also shone a spotlight on BTS. The Los Angeles Times praised the group as "World-Class Pop Artists," and highlighted their unparalleled influence, while Forbes praised the concert for incorporating elements of Korean culture, including hanbok and traditional Korean fans decorated with the Taeguk (Korean flag) symbol. The publication also recognized the economic impact BTS had on local communities, including Koreantown.

The welcome from cities across North America was equally unprecedented The City of Los Angeles officially declared September 1-8 as "BTS Week" and illuminated City Hall in red. Across North America, the celebrations continued with Toronto temporarily naming a street "BTS Boulevard," Illinois proclaiming "BTS Day," the Governor of Maryland releasing a welcome video, and the president of Mexico extending an official invitation to BTS.

Having written a new chapter in North American music history, BTS will begin its South American leg on October 2 in Bogota, Colombia, before traveling to Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil. With several destinations marking the group's first-ever visit as full group, BTS is expected to create yet another unforgettable chapter in its history.
