BTS Rap Line Names the Member Who Has Always Been the Group's Emotional Support During Difficult Times

Normally, when people think about BTS's pillars of strength, they naturally point to RM, the leader who has guided the group for nearly two decades, or Jin, who, as the oldest member, has looked after everyone since their trainee days. However, what fans might assume is not necessarily reflective of how the members actually interact with one another. During a conversation with EPIK HIGH, RM and Suga surprised everyone with revealing who they consider the group's biggest emotional anchor.

The conversation kicked off with a mix of lighthearted humor, intriguing revelations, and thoughtful discussions about music, life, and friendship. For instance, when asked about their time at a songwriting camp in Los Angeles, RM recalled a hilarious late-night disagreement: "We fought. We were drinking, and I said, 'Let's tidy up the place.' Then Jimin said, 'Hyung, shouldn't you not to talk to Taehyung like that?'—and that's how it started." Beyond the laughter, both BTS and EPIK HIGH also opened up about splitting their earnings equally, with the BTS members candidly acknowledging the substantial income they have earned.

From these candid stories, the conversation gradually shifted to a more personal topic: the dynamics of their relationships, particularly who they trust and rely on most during difficult times. RM brought this up by pointing out that Suga often sees Jimin as his ultimate "emotional support teddy bear." He jokingly added, "Every time after dance practice, he'd ask Jimin, 'Want to go to the sauna together?'"

Continuing the discussion, Suga shared that he had a particularly enjoyable experience during their time in Los Angeles, largely thanks to Jimin's presence. When Tablo asked whether Jimin was the member he was closest to, Suga answered honestly: "When Jimin was having really hard time, I kind of pulled him out of it because he was digging himself deeper." He also admitted that he sometimes goes through similar struggles himself and that the two have always been there for each other.

When Tablo summed it up by asking, "So he was the friend you leaned on mentally?", Suga nodded in agreement and replied, "Yes. We even stick together."

Suga wasn't the only one who shared this sentiment. RM also surprised the Epik High members by revealing that Jimin was the person he relied on the most. Tablo exclaimed, "Wow! Jimin is basically a hub." RM agreed and humorously added, "You know  how, in dating shows, there's always one person who gets all the votes? Jimin is kind of like that."

Interestingly, J-Hope also emphasized how Jimin's presence helped him feel better during their time in the United States. He melted fans' hearts with his affectionate words about his younger bandmate. "Jiminie is so funny. Really. He's so funny. Park Jimin is my laugh button. When I'm having a hard time or am really tired, I just poke Jimin, and he makes me laugh."

Fans often assume that J-Hope is the most positive and energetic member of BTS. However, it turns out that even he has moments when he has moments when he needs. Jimin's support, highlighting just how much emotional warmth Jimin brings to those around him. Meanwhile, calling Jimin his "laugh button" also reflects the trust J-Hope places in him and the happiness he finds in his presence.

These revelations once again highlight Jimin's special role within BTS—not only as a talented artist but also as one of the group's most important emotional anchors.

In fact, this is not the first time BTS members have described Jimin as one of the most mature and thoughtful members of the group, even more than a decade after their debut. RM once expressed his admiration for him, saying, "I have a lot of respec for Jimin. He's the most adult in our group in a way." Meanwhile, Suga, referring to Jimin as his "emotional support teddy bear," once explained, "I'm not a talkative or funny person, but I get along with Jimin because he's so good-humored and mature."

Jin has also frequently praised Jimin, describing him as a source of positive energy who looks after the other members during exhausting tours. Despite being one of the younger members, Jimin consistently demonstrates remarkable maturity. V considers him his "best friend," while Jungkook has acknowledged the important role Jimin's warm and thoughtful personality plays in maintaining the group's emotional balance.

Ultimately, maturity is not defined solely by age or experience. It reveals itself through quit empathy, genuine understanding, and an instinct to look after the people around you. Jimin embodies all of these qualities. And seeing how openly the members appreciate and support one another makes it impossible for fans not to feel deeply moved by the genuine bond they share.
